User Research

We identified two users who might be potential customers of SaniMoist:

Site Hierarchy

With these women’s values and pain points in mind, I came up with the following site sections that should be included in order to address their needs:

  • Landing
  • Introduction to Products
  • Ingredients
  • Company Credentials
  • Scents
  • Samples
  • Products
  • Cart
  • Account
  • Customer Support
  • Newsletter Sign Up

As this was a new product, we decided to go with a simple long-scroll page in order to minimize cognitive load and maximize the efficiency of the purchase funnel. I met with the stakeholders to assess the information hierarchy and we eventually came up with this site structure:

Sketches

I started by sketching out ideas for each section. I went with a modular system in order to discover the best configuration for the parts to work in harmony.

3D/Asset Creation

As I was responsible for all brand imagery beyond the logo and packaging, I decided to model the client’s products in 3D to create evergreen assets that can be utilized for imagery and future campaigns. This way, the bottles can be easily placed in any environment without the limitations of pandemic-related logistical issues. This also solved some production/timeline issues that we had to work around.
