Being one of the most pivotal hubs on the internet, Reddit boasts over 100,000 active communities and attracts a staggering 500million+ global monthly visitors. This vast user base creates a highly lucrative opportunity for advertisers to seamlessly connect and engage with a diverse audience – from casual browsers to fervent enthusiasts of niche subcultures.
In my role, I was entrusted with the task of motion design and animation for advertisements aimed at generating leads for Reddit for Business.
As a devoted user, midnight scroller, and one to always end my Google searches with “Reddit” because I trust it with my life, I was elated at this chance to create a bold and playful campaign for one of my favorite sites.
SCOPE

SOFTWARE
Adobe After Effects

Storyboards
The Design Team developed six storyboards, which would evolve into six unique videos for the campaign. The goal for each was to provide a swift introduction to advertising on Reddit, highlighting potential conversions through vibrant graphics and lively movements.
From there, I took on the rest of the project and began translating key messaging into animated sequences.
Motion Design
I created, animated, iterated, rigged, composed, rendered, stitched, and edited the sequences to produce the final deliverables – a six-video campaign for Reddit to attract marketing leaders.
